58:00 I find DuPont connectors nice for bread boarding and testing. For actual projects however, I prefer JST type connectors. Far less likely to fail or just disconnect.

Hello sir I was using your example code for "One-way Data Send" without any error, until last week. I have watched your youtube a lot. great contents. but I have one question about the data line by SPI. you use only one data line in both TX,RX. I am not sure how to get the data from one data line without clk ?

At 4:56 you stated, "...and so our output will go negative. Again, the amplitude of the output will depend on the amount of difference between the two inputs". Um. I do not think that's true because, when you stated this in the video, there was no feedback to the inverting input so any difference between the inputs would cause the output to go all the way to saturation (high/+VCC or low/-VCC). Am I misunderstanding what you were trying to say?

Excellent tutorials! I've wrote each program from this video. Ordering 3 ESP32-CAM Dev Kits with the built-in FDDI daughter board to test this code. I have an immediate application to remotely monitor the temp, %RH, and visual (cam) monitoring and 1 photo/day logging to a 4GB card app for my unconditioned space oil burner tank level indicator.

Content is great very well put together. To bad the ads have taken over and made this channel almost unwatchable

Hi, thanks for the video. I've watched it several times for the past 4 years to tell you how resourceful you are. Including some other ones, which really kept me going with my first project on robotics. Currently I'm working on interfacing ESP 32 with RPLidar but not really having much progress with it. I've been able to get the LIDAR spinning, but really couldt any information coming through on the serial monitor. Is there any advice you could assist with on the Sketch etc. Thanks to assist the way you can.

Thanks for the very helpful videos. It's a lot of work. How do you think WiFi Manager can be used for the Arduino IDE Cloud platform? After all, if you make a finished product, the client has his own Wi-Fi network, and he must connect the device to it.

Finally started using PlatformIO in earnest. This is my second attempt. Your video was very helpful thanks. I swapped from the Arduino IDE because I got sick and tired of the Arduino IDE compilation speeds even for small projects. The biggest problem I find using VSCode/PlatformIO is that it is so damned unintuitive for somebody who has never used it before. SImple things like changing the serial monitor speed etc always result in extensive searches online - only to come across MANY people with the same problems. Nothing is ever obvious in PlatformIO. Its not a steep learning curve - its a bloody great wall to climb. Followed by another, and another. Thank the Lord for ChatGPT!

I think the BLE library stopped working after the last esp32 update. There is no problem creating the server, but the client code gives a "Stack smashing protect failure!" error and reboots.

Ditto to jollylama4773. Yours are, by far, the best videos on RUclips for someone actually planning on doing the thing that you are teaching. Please keep it up. This one makes a sale for Arduino IOT Cloud as I considered other competitors but you have made it the best supported of the IOT products for hobbyists.

This was a great tutorial. A couple things I've found out though. Once I run resetSettings() and then reenter the credentials, it will initially fail to connect. I've tried various libraries and it just doesn't work first time. To make it work, after I enter the credentials I have to power off the device, give it a few seconds, and then power it back on. At that point, and going forward, it will immediately connect. If it matters I'm using an ESP32C6 from seeed studio.

What can I use to control high torque servos? I connected five 7v 3A servos to the PCA 9685 and I don't think it liked that.

probably a noob question but I can't get a straight forward answer from Google. Will this work with servo motors? Do servo motors need special controllers? I have the PCA 9685 but it can't drive the motors that I have... probably because they draw too much current. (3A max for each of the 6 servos)

I had a roommate once who left the clear protective shield on his LCD TV screen and wouldn't allow anyone to pull it off. When we parted ways after a few years of living together he was still watching TV with the scuffed up plastic wrap still peeling off the corners.
